Kate

About me

She is not the sort of adventurer who kicks down the door. She prefers to find out who owns the door, why it was locked, and what happened to the person who disappeared behind it. A natural investigator with a talent for conversation, organisation and solving complicated problems, she is often the one quietly piecing together what everyone else has missed. She means well, although her curiosity and tendency to help people have occasionally led her somewhere considerably more dangerous than intended. Bookish, practical and slightly dark-humoured, she is more likely to be found questioning a suspicious innkeeper or buried in an old tome than waving a sword around. But don’t underestimate her. She may not look like the most dangerous person in the room — and that’s often exactly why people don’t notice what she’s capable of.
