“Roleplay Lite” games typically include some story and character interactions but keep the emphasis on other gameplay elements like exploration or combat. While these games can still feature character-driven moments, they tend to favor quicker scenes with less focus on extensive backstories or dramatic roleplay.

“Puzzle / Mystery Focused” games are traditionally built around uncovering secrets, solving strange occurrences, and using clever thinking to move through the story. Players may investigate clues, crack riddles, or unravel a deeper story hidden beneath the surface.

The Witcher TTRPG

Cyberpunk Red

Harris

I have been a TTRPG gamer for around 40 years as player and as game master with my long standing group of friends.

What I like most is to experience a story and create special moments at the table through our interactions and the luck of the dice. I enjoy the excitement of good old combat, but prefer exploring a mystery and puzzle solving and succeeding through clever use of skills and planning.

Most recently got interested in Cyberpunk and The Witcher for their world setting and a system that seems to support what I am looking for.
