About me

Hey, my name is Walter, and I want to play a game! I've been playing and running tabletop RPGs for decades, but these days I'm especially drawn to games where character, fellowship, and difficult choices matter more than optimized builds. Tolkien's world has always been a favorite because it asks different questions than most fantasy settings. Courage isn't measured by how many enemies you defeat, but by what you're willing to carry, who you choose to protect, and whether hope can survive when victory seems impossible. I'm looking for a group that enjoys roleplaying, collaboration, and letting the story breathe. As a player, I like creating grounded characters who feel like they belong in the world and who help other characters shine. I'm not interested in stealing the spotlight or "winning" the campaign. I enjoy thoughtful pacing, meaningful conversations around the campfire, and the moments where small acts of kindness become just as memorable as great battles. I'm friendly, reliable, and happy to invest in the group's story, whether that means keeping careful notes, leaning into the setting, or simply showing up each week ready to help tell a memorable tale together.
