I've been playing with Strider offline for a while, and every time I can't wait for the next session. He's consistently well-prepared, and even when he isn't he's great at improvising on the spot. Chaos is a given at our table, because that's what we like as players, but even then he seems to keep the situation under control. He's great at reacting to player choices, and every wrong one we make always comes back to haunt us. By now, he's convinced we do that intentionally. The pacing of his adventures is great, without having combat slow down every session. When it happens, it either goes by quickly or feels impactful. He loves lore (maybe a little too much, but don't tell him that) and always rewards players that engage with it. Knowing that interacting in depth with the world can bring benefits has started to encourage more RP moments at our table, which is great. Give him a chance, you won't regret it!
