I have been playing David's games since he first started DMing. His special interest is TTRPG's, so he became an encyclopedia of how D&D, Pathfinder, and Savage Worlds work. He does look up some stuff, but it baffles me how he can remember the details of so many things. He is open to brainstorming to make a character that I enjoy playing. And if I try a class, but want to change it later, he is good at making the change narratively. The very first game, I changed from a paladin to a druid, so I told him he could kill her off. The narrative he played was so heart-wrenching that it made me sob. But in a good way for the storytelling! I highly recommend David for any new and experienced players. For his homebrew games, he gets really into building out the world, so there is an overarching plot to the quests the players go on. For the pre-written adventures, he is good at adapting to any side quests players want to do while also following the adventure's path for the main plot.
