About me
After playing in 7 campaigns and a healthy (or maybe goblin-like) obsession with polyhedral dice, I’m ready for my next adventure. I’m a magic-user at heart who leans into the weird and wonderful—my favorite experience to date was playing a Mutagenist Apothecary in Dungeons of Drakkenheim, where I got to balance high-stakes spellcasting with a bit of "hands-on" combat. If there’s a complex class or a shiny new d20 involved, I’m in.

If you want a DM who truly cares about your characters, book James! My group (who all know each other IRL) has absolutely loved playing with him. He takes our individual backstories and turns them into brilliant, interactive roleplay moments. He's also incredibly supportive of our wild, out-of-the-box ideas, making the world feel reactive and fun. He strikes the perfect balance when ruling on mechanics—always honoring the "rule of cool" while keeping the game grounded so things don’t get ridiculous. After playing in several different campaigns, I can say without a doubt that James is the most character-forward DM I've ever worked with. Highly recommend!
