I have played several games with Alec and he incorporates players actively in the storytelling. He also has an amazing talent joining the lore of his detailed worlds with ideas from the players. In one game while the party was in the ancestral lands of my character, I mentioned races that the family does on the land as just off hand flavor. Racing then became a focus of the party and even though he had not planned for it, he quickly looks up mechanics so the group could participate in a spontaneous race. From one off hand comment, he sets up a racing event on the fly that the entire group participated and enjoyed. Alec makes an effort to include players so they have a stake in the story. He works with the chaos that can happen in a session so that players feel like they are a part of his worlds.
