I came into this campaign midway through its run, which can be tough in a long-term game, but this GM made it incredibly easy to jump in. Within a few sessions, I felt fully integrated into both the party and the world. What stood out to me was how flexible and reactive the game is. Plans rarely go the way we expect (usually because of us), and instead of forcing things back on track, the GM rolls with it and builds on our chaos in ways that feel natural and intentional. It makes the world feel responsive instead of scripted. I also really appreciate the tone management. Big dramatic moments land when they should, but there’s always room for humor and character-driven scenes. Even coming in later, my character’s story found meaningful hooks in the broader narrative. It’s a rare thing to join a multi-year homebrew campaign and feel immediately invested, but that’s exactly what happened here.
