I played a beginner One Shot and it was absolutely amazing. Jared helped us with character creation, taught us about the action economy, and was super friendly when it came to teaching. The world building was great and I truly felt myself being pulled into this world as my character rather than just a player. For my first D&D game, I could not have asked for a better teacher or DM. He was also very excited when we came up with unique solutions rather than having one way to solve things. I used a cantrip in a way he did not think of and rewarded my creativity which felt amazing as a first time player. 10/10 and definitely would like to sit at his table again.
