I can only recommend Albertino as DM! I have been fortunate enough to have him as DM in both a Humblewood campaign with a more "cozy" setting but also in the more grim Curse of Strahd campaign, and he excels at both even though the two could not be further apart. He is a great storyteller and amazing at building up the world and stories which he makes much bigger and further beyond the "standard" story (like Curse of Strahd). The story and events therein feels very personalized to the different PCs and well thought out. There is a lot of room for creativity as a player as well and many opportunities to choose different directions in the story. Your choice feels like it will make a different to where the story will go. He makes you feel like you are part of the story - not just playing it. The different personalities and voices for the NPCs are amazing, and I find myself caring for them as much as my fellow PCs. He is great at including everyone at the table too, and I have never left a session feeling left out or that my boundaries has been crossed. He always listen to the players and makes sure everyone is having fun and enjoying the game. I am very happy to have found myself a seat at his table.
