“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.

I'm new to role playing table top games but I'm super excited to learn all about it and branch out. The closest I've come to DnD or Dnd-like is playing board games such as Catan & Funkoverse. 

2 months later: I have now played a few campaigns and 15+ sessions. I enjoy the Monk the most and I'm playing a sorcerer as well in another campaign currently. 

I love playing any and all board games.
