Jonathan A ran my first Masks: A New Generation session and it was an absolute blast. I’m a long-time TTRPG player but new to PbtA/Masks, and he made the system feel easy--answering rules questions cleanly during character creation and play without slowing anything down. I felt supported the whole way, and he consistently encouraged bold choices. He did a great job sharing the spotlight, seamlessly weaving my character’s complicated (very convoluted) backstory into the one-shot, and setting up cinematic, comic-book-worthy dialogue moments--scenes felt tailored and genuinely superhero-cinematic (including a fantastic Moment of Truth scene). The pacing and structure were strong with a clear arc and satisfying conclusion. We played on Discord (camera on for him, optional for players), and sheets were on Google Sheets with handy move references. I’d happily book with him again.
