GM opened with an inviting energy that makes one feel welcome at the table, something difficult to find digitally. The game was combat heavy as advertised, with fun puzzles rewarding kill order or using the environment. Scott gave us time to roleplay our characters, but never let any pause longer too long. This have a nice pacing, keeping engagement around and allowing some combo plays between players. The combat difficulty was on the higher end, aided by our high AC, which added to the tension and excitement of every monster slain. The combination of Discord and D&D Beyond keep playing simple, easy to engage with, and well worth joining his games again. I find Scott to be patient and open minded, a good spot for newer players or those with broken builds. I will be joining more of his games.
