Brister's really good at bringing what you as a player want to the table. While still putting forth his stuff. I had a one on one where the entire focus of the campaign was on my character and their backstory, in a world of Brister's making that was chokeful of its own things (it's own pantheon, locations, etc.). The DM catered to my requests as to what I wanted the campaign to be like, introducing enjoyable characters that clashed well with mine, some of which defied my expectations pretty interestingly. One of the only regrets I have is catering to an experience so focused on my own PC, as I got the impression that had I asked the DM to showcase me his worldbuilding through perhaps something not as character focused, he would more than happily have done so tastefully.
