Game was listed as a one-shot. Was going long so Colby suggested we finish the story the following day. All of the players agreed, despite being open to finishing during that initial session. Colby cancelled the second session less than 2 hours before the start and made no attempt to reschedule for a later date. Also didn’t post anything on StartPlaying—he expected people to see it on Discord. He did not seem to care much that the story remained incomplete. Colby was also late to the start of our initial session by about 5 minutes. And had a persistent running water sound behind his voice chat all night, which was pretty distracting. Colby did a decent job explaining the mechanics of the game (one of the stated goals of the session) and did a suitable job of providing story points. Overall, though, the lack of effort to provide a complete story really ruined the experience and made it feel like a waste of time and money. I would not join another of Colby’s games in the future.
