Since it was his first time being a game master, he did stick somewhat closely to the rules of the game setting we were in. However, as we continued playing, the stress he felt gradually melted away as we immersed ourselves in the game. Dan was truly a wonderful storyteller and was very patient with all of us, helping us understand how the system worked so that we could all enjoy ourselves together. The character he portrayed was funny, and it reminded people like me that in the alien universe, most scientists are terrible, lol. Honestly, if he asked me to join again, I would!
