Stinus Födel

My wife and I have played in one of Paul's groups for half a year now. It has been the most fun we have ever had playing DnD, and we have joined a few groups. We have been playing in his ”Descent into Avernus” group and are in Session 26. He runs a fairly combat-heavy game. But each combat is a unique experience with new opponents, new environments, new tactical requirements, and they form a beautiful narrative arc. One can clearly tell that he takes a great amount of time to prepare each possible destination we might go to, and wherever we go, our party finds a new link to the grand story unfolding. I’m a bit of a shenanigans player trying to make a joke out of everything, and Paul does an excellent job keeping the setting serious and the threats real. Which only makes the jokes land all the harder. I can heartily recommend Paul as anyone’s DM. It has been a long time since I had so much fun in a group, and our Friday sessions have become the highlight of my week
