About me

Hello, I’m Phoenix, 40, she/they, queer, AuDHD, solo parent of two, currently fighting cancer and would love a bit of escapism and fantasy in my life 💜 I’m a HUGE fan of Dimension 20 and have just started watching Critical Role. I’ve tried playing D&D three times - the first time was a couple of decades ago; I was laughed at for being the only girl at the table and not knowing what to do, and felt too uncomfortable to return. I then tried again with my ex husband and some friends years later, but I died within an hour and it was devastating 😂 and now my friends and I have set up a game, but with our busy schedules it’s so hard to commit to a regular game. So if anyone would take a chance on me, I’d love it and I promise to bring great backstories, narratives and roleplaying to the table (I was a reception teacher for fifteen years before I got sick and now I’m a writer, so narratives and stories and acting are at my core!) Hoping to make friends and save towns and worlds, create beautiful stories and have fun. If you think I’m not a good fit for your table, please just say, I won’t be offended. More into story development than smash and grab.
