Deacon has an INCREDIBLE sense of comedic timing and improv skills. His homebrewed worlds are rich with fun and interesting characters, incredible lore, and fresh ideas. I met my current circle of friends through the opportunity of getting to play at Deacon's table. He's very on top of safety tools and making sure everyone feels welcome, as well as making sure every person gets a chance to do something. His knowledge of the rules is near encyclopedic, and he's more than willing to teach new players how things work. Deacon is incredible patient and kind to new tabletop players, and has my trust 100% in bringing in new people to the hobby. Some of my favorite characters I've ever had the pleasure of playing for the Dungeons and Dragons system where brought to life, in part, because of Deacon's amazing storytelling ability and his sense for the dramatic. He's got a wide vocal range, and often likes to set the tone of scenes with various music scores and soundtracks. He's great at blending the absurd, the sincere, the terrifying and the awe-inspiring, and is one of my favorite DMs of all time. Yes, even more than Brennan Lee Mulligan and Matt Mercer. You ABSOLUTELY need to give Deacon's games a shot if you're looking for something fun, weird, silly, dramatic, tense, and action-packed!
