I'm relatively new to D&D, and I'm so thrilled to have Maria as a DM! She's crafted this fascinating world with multiple factions full of nuanced viewpoints, and she does an amazing job of weaving in everyone's backstories to provide hooks and stakes to each character. You always feel like your choices matter, whether we're dealing with high level political intrigue or engaging in drunken antics. I can't recommend her highly enough, and that goes DOUBLE for other new / inexperienced players. She does a wonderful job at making everything make sense and creating a safe environment for asking questions and learning as you go.
