Playing in Chris’s holiday-themed level 20 one-shot, How the Lich Stole Christmas, was an absolute delight. Chris is a grounded, humble, and incredibly approachable DM who clearly understands that D&D is, at its heart, a collaborative game meant for everyone to have fun. While he runs his games with RAW, he balances that structure with an openness that truly sets him apart. He listens to his players, welcomes creative problem-solving, and isn’t afraid to admit when he’s wrong or to give players room to attempt clever shenanigans. That level of trust and flexibility made the experience feel both fair and fun, and it was something I genuinely appreciated. This one-shot was a fantastic way to kick off the holiday season, and I’ll absolutely be keeping an eye out for future games Chris runs. Thank you, Chris, for an excellent and memorable session—I had an amazing time!
