Yan is exceedingly entertaining and professional as a DM. His biggest strengths lie in his ability to build compelling and complex worlds, as well as fun, meaningful and cohesive interactions with NPCs within said worlds. There's almost no awkward silences in the sessions, as he bounces off the player's and character's personalities and quirks with such ease in the narratives he creates. And speaking of narratives, his mastery in storytelling is easily one of the most impressive things in his campaigns. He makes sure all the sessions are as immersive as can be. Every single one of his NPCs have different characteristics (appearances, voices, mannerisms, etc), making them feel alive; all the poetry and assets for the story are very well-written and well-thought-out, and he is always willing to hear the player's opinions and help them along the way. His professionalism also comes in the shape of truly caring for the players. He always makes sure everyone is comfortable with where the story is headed, and deals with feedback in a truly skilful way. To be honest, it is visible how much he likes what he does and, in my opinion, it is reflected in the amazing community he has built for himself. TLDR; Yan is one of the best DMs out there, hands down. 10/10 would recommend.
