About me

I've been playing TTRPGs for a long time, longer than I'd care to admit. Let's just say I remember being excited for the "upcoming" 3rd Edition of D&D. I love to RP and also enjoy crunchy tactical combat if that's the vibe. Looking for: cooperative parties with aligned goals, tables where everyone gets a chance to shine, diverse group of players. Trying to avoid: players with "main character syndrome", players that argue with the DM, players that turn up late... basically ignorance and rudeness.

Played 13 sessions

After ~ 15 sessions at her table, I recommend Vines to anyone looking for world-building, roleplay, and character development. Vines created space for all of us to contribute to world-building and character development. What emerged felt like real attachments to the other players' characters. We'd spend some time in most sessions just world-building and talking about our characters. In fact, there were sessions where we literally didn't roll dice... and those were some of the best! Our table played loose with the rules - Vines had a "tell me what you want to do, and we'll see if we can make it happen". Combat was exciting and streamlined - still 5E but fast-paced. That suited our table just fine. I think the highest praise I can give is that Vines led 6 very different people to become a group of friends.
