Katie Hughes

Nick is a masterful storyteller, and a fantastic DM. I’ve played with him both in the capacity as a player at his table, and as a DM for him. I have never had more fun playing DND than after I met him, and I’ve been involved with several groups. He puts a lot of care into his sessions and works incredibly hard to make sure everyone has a voice in the campaign. He’s great with shenanigans and always manages to throw even crazier stuff at the players. He allows so much freedom when it comes to what the players and their characters can do, with his general rule of thumb being “if you can reasonably justify it, I’ll allow it”. If you’re a beginner and want a simple, but incredibly fun, experience; I cannot recommend Nick highly enough. He’s also fantastic with experienced players as well, and does a great job of keeping both newbie and veteran eagerly engaged. If I could, his rating would be 6/5 stars, he’s seriously that good.
