I've been playing ttrpgs for a little over 3 years at this point, including multiple different one shots and campaigns through startplaying. Chris is the best of the best. He's undeniably skilled, thoroughly welcoming and accommodating. He cares about his players and the stories he builds with them in a way that I've found is rare. He runs his games with the players' wants and needs at the forefront, and crafts intricate, beautiful stories through wonderful collaboration. The decisions he makes as a storyteller are sometimes subtle but always deliberate, always emphasizing the fact that he listens to what his players and what their characters have to say. He manages to keep to VTM's intrinsic dark themes and lore without ever compromising the safety and comfort of the players. Playing with him is a joy, and I am continuously grateful that his games are something I get to experience.
