I had a frustrating experience with this campaign. During several sessions, I felt consistently talked over, pushed aside, and at times pressured into having my character participate in things I did not want to do. It also often felt like the DM prioritized his friends and their characters, while mine received far less attention or opportunity to participate. I brought these concerns to the DM privately and took some time away to cool off. In the end, I was removed for “missing too many sessions,” despite some of the dates being counted involving sessions canceled by the DM himself. Rather than addressing the concerns I raised about the table dynamic, the focus was placed almost entirely on attendance. I would not recommend this campaign to players looking for equal participation, character agency, or fair treatment.
