As a fairly new player, I’ve consistently found Tricky as a GM to be supportive, educational, and encouraging, giving me opportunities to grow and learn as a player. He is inclusive, expertly prepared, and creates a safe, exciting environment that remains challenging without losing sight of character growth and compelling storytelling. He also makes it clear that he cares about his players personally. His roleplaying is elite, and I often find myself laughing out loud one moment and genuinely emotional the next while interacting with his NPCs. Tricky also is great at balancing the party by ensuring every player has their moment to shine with his social awareness and gentle nudges to share moments across the table and keep the story going. His integration of Foundry with theater-of-the-mind storytelling is seamless and deeply immersive. I play D&D for an escape and I haven't had a single game with Tricky where I didn't lose myself in the adventure and leave excited for the next one.
