Being completely new to D&D, I got really lucky having Jake as my DM. He was very patient and managed to weave my newbie character into his existing story without it feeling forced or awkward. Jake really knows his way around Foundry VTT too - no awkward pauses or technical issues. Everything just worked, which I definitely appreciated as someone trying to focus on learning 5e. What really blew me away though was how Jake brought everything to life. He does these different voices for all the characters we meet, picks perfect background music for every situation. I had almost no idea what to expect from D&D, but now I'm hooked and can't wait for our next campaign!
