When I came to StartPlaying to find a group online I wasn't sure what I would find, but I feel I lucked out joining Joe's table. I wanted to join a campaign and work on roleplaying more and it's been so great to have the opportunities to RP with NPCs and other PCs. My most memorable RP moments have been with Joe and the NPCs though, just don't tell the others. We're given the freedom to be creative while also being realistic which I think is one of the best ways to learn the game! I'm still learning new things about D&D from Joe and my fellow players and I love that. Joe's really understanding about life things happening that might disrupt gameplay so I feel comfortable approaching him with questions and concerns or if I'm going to miss a session. If you want a DM who's a great story teller, helps everyone feel welcome, and is super down to collab for character backstories and arcs then Joe's your guy!
