I love Linu's play style. There's lots of combat and lots of role play. The pacing moves fast enough to keep everyone engaged but also gives plenty of opportunities for role play and exploration. Because he is so experienced with DMing, he has an extensive knowledge of the rules and is the only DM I've seen actively cheer for the players in the middle of battle. He's also not afraid to look things up if there is a dispute or kindly explain some of the mechanics of foundry when necessary. The worlds he uses are rich in lore with epic back stories and he utilizes a wide variety of maps, each selected and edited or created to fit his exacting standards. Even with all that preparation and deep world lore, he happily improvises and delivers high quality game play session after session. 10/10. Would absolutely recommend. Also frequently uses custom music and tons of distinct NPCs.
