I am an experienced RPG Player and have been for over 40 years- i've played about every game there is at some point. If you don't want to play a role why play a role playing game? This is a serious question. I have been playing TTRPG's most of my life- picked it up in 1980. This is a hobby. It's not life or death in real life typically, and it's a ROLE playing game. You play a ROLE. That role is NOT you. Your in-game persona is a representation of you. I'm a retired teacher and I put time, creativity, and thought into my characters. If you don't want to do that it's on you. Don't begrudge someone else who does or who speaks in different voices for their character.........
