I didn’t mesh with Greg’s GM style, though I respect his knowledge and creativity. For players with similar preferences to him, he is certainly a great fit due to his knowledge and experience as a GM. A few personal issues I noticed (as of April 2026): * He uses speakers, which could cause player echo/feedback. His push-to-talk helped, but it still disrupted my play at times. * Initiative was kept active outside combat in a dungeon, which made non-combat moments feel unnecessarily slow and restrictive. * One ruling I ran into felt overly rigid or questionable. He interprets “before results are revealed” as requiring hidden GM rolls with no context for the player. In practice, this completely undermines the purpose of many reroll abilities and limit meaningful player choice. I learned that other GMs, including a PFS GM, interpret this differently. I only played one session, but these issue significantly impacted my experience and decision to discontinue play.
