Yan is a great DM. He's very knowledgeable on the 2014 5e system and is flexible with character creation and allowing for adjustments early on to ensure you're satisfied with who you are playing. We are playing through the Odyssey of the Dragonlords right now and has a deep understanding of all the lore for the respective setting. He is very punctual when attending the session despite our game taking place very early in the morning for him. He will also give an appropriate warning if he needs more time to prep before the session or deal with technical difficulties on his end. During the game there's ambiance to set the mood and a discord bot that record the sessions into an mp3 file so we can review previous sessions for the sake of accurate note taking. He is also very adept at Foundry'a interface, utilizing mods with proficiency giving tokens unique animations for spells, attacks and social reactions like emotes which helps with the immersion of the session. After every session he takes at least 30 minutes to review how each person felt and has made adjustments in following sessions in response to the feedback. Amazing DM and any player would be lucky to have him behind the DM Screen.
