Every time I play one of Josh's games, I know I'm in for an amazing experience. He puts care and intentionality into everything he runs, and his love for the players and the game are unquestionable. Josh is extremely skilled in his ability to tell immersive stories set in worlds with rich history and robust characters that elevate the playing experience. One of Josh's greatest strengths as a DM is his investment in his players. He devotes time and effort into creating compelling narratives for players to engage with that bring depth to their involvement in the story. Josh facilitates immersive roleplay experiences that encourage players to dig deep with their characters in impactful ways. In my own experience as a player in his games, his support and guidance as I've developed my characters has helped me feel more confident and bold in taking risks and exploring possibilities. In addition to personal support, Josh excels as a facilitator of group interactions and encouraging party cohesion. He values creating an inclusive and safe space for his players to flourish. His sessions always have excellent pacing and balance structure and freedom to interact with the world. I'm grateful to have participated in multiple of Josh's games, and strongly recommend him as a DM!
