Patrick Carroll

Will has been my DM for quite some time, and has been an absolute joy playing under. Throughout the years they have grown into a seriously involved, invested, passionate, and well versed DM. Whether I'm locked in, or I'm feeling silly and want to mess around, Will has always been extremely adaptive and inclusive to many different play styles, and always has an answer for what the sessions demand. Their passion truly shines through with each session, and the love for tabletops with friends is undeniably a key tenet in their philosophy whether they would tell you outright, or you see it in each turn you take as a player. Whether you're a well-versed veteran player, or a beginner without even the slightest clue which die is which, I have full faith that a player of any level of experience can fully engross themselves and become part of the world with Will's guidance, patience, and brimming passion. I would send anybody their way in a moment's notice knowing that Will would do a far better job than I could ever do fully breaking down the intricacies of the game. When you've been playing for so long, you forget exactly what it's like to be entirely foreign to the tabletop genre, yet Will has always been able to run back to the starting line and pull them up to snuff with the rest of the party within little to no time at a comfortable and new-player-friendly way, adding another fresh face to the sessions with seeming ease. I would have selected all of the options if they didn't only allow me three, as the genuine joy I'm brought with each session under their guide has always been the highlight of my weeks!
