I really love Daniel's games and DM style, he's a Rockstar that really rolls with our chaotic creativity. I've had an array of DMs but he's the first I've played with who deals with player requests as asked and made fair rulings in response to the circumstances. I see a lot of DMs end up trying to stereotype players and react to their requests like they are trying to prevent problems other players have created in the past, regardless of the current player's intentions. He doesn't do that and it makes me feel seen, heard, and personified (used here to mean the opposite of objectified). It may sound like an uber specific thing, but it has a huge effect on whether the sessions feel fulfilling and Daniel's always do.
