I've been playing D&D for a long time, across multiple editions and with a lot of different DMs. McLoyf is one of the best I've played with. His command of the rules keeps the game moving while making every ruling feel consistent and fair. Combat is never just trading attacks, it's a tactical problem that rewards planning, positioning, teamwork, and resource management. Every victory feels earned. Outside of combat, his NPCs all have distinct personalities and voices that make the world feel alive. Combined with his theater-of-the-mind descriptions, it's easy to get immersed in the story. He strikes the right balance between roleplay, exploration, and challenging but fair combat. It's obvious he puts a lot of preparation into every session, and I'd highly recommend his games to anyone looking for an engaging, tactical, and memorable D&D experience.
