After a descriptive yet concise summary of the last game's events, the party was immediately thrown into the action, with no time wasted introducing new characters. I played a game today with GM Marshal, and it was fun, exciting, and well-paced. He clearly knows the rules and does an excellent job allowing players to play to their characters' strengths. As a bonus, he even pulled a table or two from his growing trove of Shadowdark supplements. I'm looking forward to playing again.

Played my first session with GM Ted and had a great time. I am a latecomer to an existing game and he was able to quickly and painlessly get me into the action. He was able to handle a large group of various level characters very well and kept the action balanced and fun for everyone. There was a good mix of action, exploration, and roleplay. He kept the game moving without getting bogged down in rules or mechanics, which made the gameplay smooth and painless. Everyone seemed to have a great time. I’m looking forward to playing again.

Jesse is a terrific Game Master. He set up the story well, and always kept the action moving. He knows the Shadowdark rules well and made sure everyone felt involved.
