If you’re looking for creative combats and a fair DM, look no further. Kasper has come up with some of the most genuinely challenging fights I’ve had in my time playing D&D. His encounters push you to think creatively, reward outside-the-box ideas, and really encourage the party to collaborate to overcome these obstacles. His use of music and maps also creates an amazing atmosphere of tension — looking at you, Boneclaw. The main storyline plots have completely captured my interest too. I have boards of red strings and a ton of theories trying to piece everything together. Overall, it’s one of the games I spend the most time thinking about after sessions such as working on notes, theorizing, and pushing my own creativity as a player. There have been many memorable moments that I’ve really enjoyed.
