I've been playing in Nova's Ancient Tales of Old campaign for 14 sessions and it's been the greatest game I've participated in so far. Nova is wonderfully welcoming and inclusive, and is outstanding at tactfully addressing issues like character misgendering without making anybody feel guilty. They also run the game in such a way that helps less experienced folks keep up and learn their options easily. The way that Nova gives each player a chapter really makes me feel as though they are committed to giving everyone an equal amount of spotlight, yet no one ever seems to be playing as "sidekicks." Nova has run combat encounters that have had me shaking in my boots, almost as though I, the player, was at risk of being bit in half by a T-rex along with my character. They've facilitated roleplay sessions that have been so thought-provoking and surprising that I've had no choice but to role play my character as speechless, because that's how I really was. Nova is such an effective communicator it's awesome. They make their table such a safe space that you feel not only welcome, but encouraged to bring ideas and improvement ideas to them. At the end of every session, I feel like Nova genuinely cares about their players' experience and is actively working to make each and every one of us have the best experience possible.
