Ace is one of the best DMs I've had over my, by now, decade or so of playing TTRPGs. They were one of my first DMs when I began. They were very patient with me as I learned the ropes of TTRPGs as well as trying out their custom system, which we still play to this day weekly. One thing I'd like to highlight they do is they end every session often asking if anyone has questions, comments or concerns. At all times they focus on making sure the players are having fun, and able to properly explore what they want in their characters. This mixed with some solid management of difficulty levels makes the experience for me when he DMs. I know he won't throw something we can't handle at us, but I also know he will use something that can (in some cases has) put the party in serious danger and will push us to the limit, both in terms of getting creative with our abilities and general combat.
