AMAZING, 11/10 DM! I’ve had the pleasure of playing in multiple sessions run by Marcel, and they’re always fantastic! One of Marcel’s major strengths is his flexibility. His world is a massive sandbox and he adapts to everything! One time our party decided to explore a maze-like sewer system. After the Session, Marcel admitted that he hadn’t actually planned for us to explore the sewer. Almost every minute of the session was improv! I was completely blown away because the descriptions and encounters he provided were so compelling I could’ve sworn they was pre-written. His NPCs are also wonderful. Multifaceted, realistic characters with distinct personalities and their own drives and desires. Whether it’s a tiefling or a Tabaxi, Marcel’s NPCs always feel grounded, like they genuinely inhabit the world he’s created. To top it all off, he’s quite good at voices, switching from rowdy Goliath to sultry Bard at the drop of a hat. Finally, his worldbuilding is top-notch! He puts so much work into creating the universe the PCs inhabit. From a haunted town run by vampires (with its own unique social hierarchy), to a clan of nomadic orcs (boasting a terrifying judicial system). Overall, I highly HIGHLY recommend booking this DM. You won’t regret it! P.S. Make sure to ask to hear his goblin voice, it’s hilarious.
