I hadn’t played since the early AD&D days, and coming back to D&D 5e (2014) with Alex as my DM made the whole experience smooth and genuinely exciting. He knows the rules inside and out, but more importantly, he knows how to teach them. He takes the time to explain to me how things work and why, which helped me get back up to speed without feeling overwhelmed. At the virtual table, he keeps everyone engaged and involved. He encourages my creativity, never shuts down my ideas, and works with me to shape them into something that fits the moment and the story. It’s a supportive environment where I feel like my character’s choices actually matter. He’s also great with the more experienced players at the table and is able to provide depth, challenge, and flexibility without slowing the flow of the game. I’ve noticed that everyone gets something satisfying out of the session, no matter their background. If you’re looking for a DM who’s knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a great time, Alex is an excellent choice.
Just completed a one shot intro session to Daggerheart with Mythical Miller. Most of the players, including myself, had little to no knowledge of Daggerheart. Mythical Miller did a great job of balancing the learning aspects with the narrative and mechanics of the session. 10 out of 10 would play on another one of his campaigns.
