Reviews I've given (1)
After half a year of gaming, Scarlet took various scraps of random backstory and crafted a fitting end to my self-destructive halfing that involved reuniting with his family and taking out the BBEG that threatened them. It involved an improvised pipe-bomb, John Wick style crossbows, and light threatening of a public official. It was awesome. If that's not enough, then in addition she has a variety of different voices (just ask for her Southern Belle or Sheep), different systems (DnD 5e, Wanderhome, Girl by Moonlight, Lancer, and more), and is an amazing artist, having given form to many a PC and NPC in our campaigns. She also puts up with my various attempts to bring science and reason into her worlds of fantasy, and is more than happy to indulge flashbacks and referring previous events as a rule of cool. Further, she aims to create a safe and welcoming enivorment, using tools like the X system and pre-polls of any potentially personal content. She also prefers to craft her own worlds and campaigns, rather than uses pre-gens, and the experience is all the more better for it, as she has a varied knowledge of various lived experiences from Australia, Japan, and other cultures. It almost pains me to write this review, knowing that how amazing a GM she is, and how this review may result in her becoming so in-demand that I may never play at her table again, but she deserves it. I cannot recommend her enough.
