Daniel is a fantastic Game Master! There are many things that make a good GM and Daniel seems to embody a whole fistful of them. To name a few: - He is a great storyteller. From the very beginning of campaigns he establishes an interesting world and story thread that makes you excited to play the game. Then he carries that story through by beautifully implementing character backstories and using interesting NPCs. Also, beware his BBEGs... He's particularly good at making you genuinely want to beat the **** out of them. - He cares about player safety. Daniel takes Session 0 seriously. He uses lines and veils, and stars and wishes to get an idea of what players are comfortable with... then he sticks to it. This is only helped by the fact that he really has built an awesome community of folks who love DnD and truly try to be kind to each other. - He knows DnD. This means that whether you're new or have been playing for a long while you can trust that he is not just making the rules up as he goes. In fact, this is probably why is so great at introducing beginners to the game. Beginners have questions and 9 times out of 10, Daniel will have an answer. All in all, if you're looking for a new DM... you can't go wrong trying out one of his games. You just might find yourself sticking around.
