I have a lot of fun in his game. His pacing is really good and he keeps a great balance of role play and action. His characters are very believable and the whole world is immersive. He is fair with rules and doesn't get mad if someone know something he doesn't which I think is a wonderful holiday to have. He is perfect for new players because he takes time to explain how things work and why. I will definitely be looking to play more games with him.

I cannot say enough good things. I've only played one campaign so far with this DM and it's not even finished yet, but I promise it won't be the last one because I've had so much fun. He does the most amazing voices and is so quick. I've never seen him get stumped by anything that's come up. He definitely lets cool things happen and makes cool things happen. He runs his game with Theater of the Mind instead of any virtual table top which sounded daunting before we got started but he's so descriptive and keeps track of things himself so well that it's never once been anything but enjoyable. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Derek is amazing! His storytelling is fantastic and he is always open to ideas and working around cool things we players might come up with. He took my character's original background and added to his world in a really neat way that has made this game extra fun for me, personally. He also takes the time to explain things, which I appreciate as a newer DnD player who doesn't know all the ins and outs yet. I highly recommend him as a DM.
