A very solid knowledge of the rules was very welcome, and allowed him to handle the weird things a lvl20 party can throw a GMs way gracefully. It was really fun to have a one-shot to play in where we could try out some of the higher lvl abilities and builds that almost never see the light of day in a campain.

Does a really good job of making the game more than just a math and spreadsheet simulator by making the world come alive. The playstyle encourages use of flavorful character choices instead of feeling like you need to have the most powerful character and are stuck with the "meta" choices.
