Before joining one of his games, I had only been part of two other D&D groups, which ended too early to delve into the adventure and really appreciate this aspect of geekdom. After playing for almost three years, it’s been epic. Erudi’s creativity and storytelling immerses you into the adventure. He handles himself well even when the party acts incidentally—on most occasions—chaotic. The players have the opportunity to create their own stories and leave a lasting impression on the world. The voices and personalities he gives the characters he portrays are memorable. He will even imitate a player’s character when said player is absent for the session. However, he’s undoubtedly very much like a Muppet. In his defense, it’s “not” entirely Erudi’s fault that he’s made of felt and his brain has become the biggest and smoothest because of it. With each passing session, it’s becoming quite clear his Muppetosis is progressively worsening. Truly, Muppetosis affects us all.
