I was initially apprehensive about playing DnD online, especially with a DM I didn't know personally. However, I've been playing with Dan for almost a year and I couldn't recommend him more highly enough to anyone, but especially if you haven't played DnD or this is your first game on start playing games. Dan has fantastic rapport with his players and makes everyone feel welcome. I find every session, despite being the same amount of time, going by quicker and quicker because the party has so much fun. Something that Dan does that makes him unique from other DMs I've had in the past is his attention to player comfort and safety. A tangible example is that at the end of every session, he makes sure nothing has triggered anyone and that is deeply appreciated. As for the more boring logistical and professional aspects surrounding a start-playing games campaign; Dan is highly responsive if you need to skip a session or have any serious questions outside the allotted session time. The very longest he's ever taken to respond to a query for me is two business days, however, it's usually much quicker and he's in the exact opposite time zone as me! Overall could not recommend Dan more!
