At this point I've played well over 100 sessions with Ted and what I can tell you is that he is not just a good, high-quality DM, he is a GREAT DM and a professional that deserves to be compensated for his craft, and I'll explain the difference for you: a good DM has great creativity and flexibility, a flair for the dramatic, a sharp yet appropriate sense of humor and a sense of timing that a stage actor could aspire to, yet their sessions, that could be amazing, can be lowered into the realm of just tolerable by poor/annoying player behaviors. A great, Professional DM will do the absolute hardest part of the job and not tolerate bad player behaviors that bring down the experience for everyone else. A truly good DnD campaign requires a quality dungeon master AND quality players, and it seems to me that Ted understands and strives for this in a manner that is very rare.
